A Milestone of Mixed Emotions

Graduation has left me with mixed emotions.

It is super exciting to reach a milestone, to accomplish something that at times I doubted I could.

It is exciting to reach that milestone with friends, knowing that you have been helping each other along the way.

Simultaneously, it is a scary milestone to reach. This milestone means that I am now responsible for myself. I have to find a job that will begin paying the bills. Yet, I also want to find a job that I am excited to do, a job where I can grow as an individual and participate in the growth of others.

You want to know what else is scary? Interviews, that's what. I've had one so far and it went well from my perspective. However, it's hard to tell what the interviewers are thinking. It's happened before: I'll get an interview, think it went well, get my hopes up, and then find out that I wasn't what they were looking for.

Yet, in the midst of all of this scariness and excitingness, I have a great amount of peace. God's got this in control, so I don't have to worry. He's got my future covered.
